Grandeur Flooring Pacific Vinyl Plank Flooring

An older home rarely has a dead-flat subfloor, and the floor you lay over it has to be rigid enough not to telegraph every dip and ridge underneath.

In simple terms: Grandeur Flooring Pacific is a rigid Evolution vinyl plank built to sit flat over an imperfect subfloor, fully waterproof, in a wide-and-long wood look. We carry it and install it in-house.

The core is stone-and-polymer composite, denser and more rigid than standard vinyl, and that rigidity is exactly what lets it hold its shape over an uneven base year-round. It installs as a floating click floor. The wear layer is 20 mil, heavy-residential and light-commercial grade. Planks run up to 7 inches wide and 60 inches long. It is FloorScore and GREENGUARD certified. Colours in the range include Queenstown, Golden Bay, Wellington, and Canterbury.

It is 100% waterproof through the whole plank, so bathrooms, kitchens and below-grade rooms are all fair game, and with an IIC around 72, an STC around 70 and an attached acoustic pad it meets the sound ratings GTA condo boards require.

Decision line: Pacific is the choice when the subfloor is less than perfect and you want a rigid, fully waterproof floor that rides over it cleanly.
