In simple terms: Grandeur Flooring Pacific is a wood-look vinyl plank that handles water, pets, and busy rooms without complaint. We carry it and install it in-house.

Here is what matters on this one. The core here is SPC, a stone-and-polymer composite that is denser and more rigid than standard vinyl. That rigidity is what lets it sit flat over an imperfect subfloor and hold its shape year-round, and it installs as a floating click floor. The 20 mil wear layer puts it in heavy-residential, light-commercial territory, which is where vinyl earns its keep in a family home. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. Water is a non-issue: it is 100% waterproof through the whole plank, which is what makes it the go-to for bathrooms, kitchens, and below-grade rooms. With an IIC rating around 72 and an STC around 70 and an attached acoustic pad, it meets the sound ratings most Toronto and Mississauga condo boards require, which is often the deciding factor in a high-rise. Planks run up to 7 inches wide and 60 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. On the health side, it is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality and GREENGUARD certified. Colours in the range include Queenstown, Golden Bay, Wellington, and Canterbury.
