Grandeur Flooring Bliss Vinyl Plank Flooring
If a room sees water, pets, or heavy traffic, vinyl tends to be the practical answer, as long as you read past the photo to the build.
In simple terms: Grandeur Flooring Bliss is luxury vinyl plank, a wood-look floor that is 100% waterproof and built to take real-life traffic. It is WPC, Squarefoot Flooring carries it and our own crew installs it.
This is a WPC floor, a wood-polymer composite core that is rigid like SPC but with a little more give, so it feels warmer and softer underfoot and runs quieter, a nice touch in kitchens and rooms you stand in for a while. The 22 mil wear layer puts it in heavy-residential, light-commercial territory, which is where vinyl earns its keep in a family home. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. It carries an IIC rating around 73 and an STC around 72 plus an attached acoustic pad, so it clears the sound-transfer rules most GTA condo boards set, a common sticking point in high-rises. Planks run up to 9 inches wide and 60 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. On the health side, it is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality and GREENGUARD certified. Colours in the range include Gazebo, Campfire, Woodland, Sea Breeze, and August Dusk.
Decision line: Bliss is the warmer, softer-feeling option, a good fit where comfort underfoot is worth a slightly thicker board.
We install Grandeur Flooring Bliss with our own team, not subcontractors, across the GTA, Barrie, and Simcoe County. It floats over most existing hard floors once the base is flat and dry. Read how we work on the vinyl installation page, or see our projects.
We keep Bliss at both showrooms, where the texture and colour read properly. Contact us for stock, or start from our Toronto and Mississauga vinyl pages. For more on what waterproof really means, see our is flooring waterproof guide. See more Grandeur Flooring options on our Grandeur Flooring page.
