Grandeur Flooring Atlantic Vinyl Plank Flooring
If a room sees water, pets, or heavy traffic, vinyl tends to be the practical answer, as long as you read past the photo to the build.
In simple terms: Grandeur Flooring Atlantic is a wood-look vinyl plank that handles water, pets, and busy rooms without complaint. We carry it and install it in-house.
Decision line: Atlantic is the choice when you want a thin, rock-solid, fully waterproof floor that hides an imperfect subfloor and goes just about anywhere.
The detail behind that: SPC stands for stone polymer composite, and that core is the point: it is hard, rigid, and stable, so the plank stays flat over uneven subfloors and ignores the temperature swings that move cheaper vinyl. It clicks together as a floating floor. It has a 12 mil wear layer, enough for normal household traffic in bedrooms, living rooms, and quieter spaces. Because it is 100% waterproof rather than just water-resistant, you can put it in the rooms that rule out wood and laminate, full baths, laundry rooms, kitchens, and basements. It carries an IIC rating around 72 and an STC around 70, so it clears the sound-transfer rules most GTA condo boards set, a common sticking point in high-rises. Planks run up to 7 inches wide and 48 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. Micro-bevelled edges define each plank for a more authentic look. On the health side, it is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality and GREENGUARD certified. Colours in the range include CDW340-2, CDW190A-09, and GF8936.
We install Grandeur Flooring Atlantic with our own team, not subcontractors, across the GTA, Barrie, and Simcoe County. It floats over most existing hard floors once the base is flat and dry. Read how we work on the vinyl installation page, or see our projects.
A sample chip never shows how Atlantic looks across a whole room. See it at our Mississauga or Barrie showroom, contact us about availability, and compare materials on the vinyl vs laminate guide. For the full Grandeur Flooring range, see our Grandeur Flooring page.
