Why Finsa Stands Out

Spills, wet boots, and pet bowls are where ordinary laminate gives up, right at the seams.

In simple terms: Grandeur Flooring Finsa is a 12mm AC6 rated water-resistant laminate, a floor built to take water in the rooms where that matters. Squarefoot Flooring carries it, and our own crew installs it.

Finsa runs a 12mm board on the thicker end of the range, which gives a solid, quiet step and bridges minor subfloor irregularities better than thin planks. It carries an AC6 wear rating, the toughest residential and commercial class. The surface is finished with a natural wood-look texture. It installs with a glue-free floating click installation that keeps labour costs down and lets the floor be lifted and reused later. Made in Spain. It has a water-resistant core, which lets it handle the spills and humidity that would swell a standard laminate at the joints. It is backed by a 15-year residential and 10-year commercial warranty.

Because of that core, Finsa holds up in the rooms that sink a standard laminate: kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and entries. The range includes tones such as Arles Natural, Fado Brisa, Fado Gavia, Fado Sotavento, and Kalas Albar.

Decision line: Finsa is the pick wherever water is a factor, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and entries; keep a standard laminate for the dry rooms to save.

Our own in-house team installs Grandeur Flooring Finsa across the Toronto and Mississauga area, Barrie, and Simcoe County, never subcontracted. A floating laminate is only as good as the floor under it, so we level the subfloor, set the right underlayment, and finish the trim. See our laminate installation page.

A photo flattens the texture, so see Finsa in person before deciding. It is at both stores, you can contact us for current stock, and the vinyl vs laminate guide helps if you are still choosing a material.

Still Have Questions?

Quick answers about this collection before you buy.

What is Grandeur Flooring Finsa?
Grandeur Flooring Finsa is a 12mm AC6 rated water-resistant laminate, made in Spain. It is built to handle water in kitchens, baths, and entries, where standard laminate tends to fail at the seams. Squarefoot Flooring carries it and installs it with our own crew.
Is Finsa actually waterproof?
Finsa is a water-resistant core, which lets it handle the spills and humidity that would swell a standard laminate at the joints. Standing water left for long stretches should still be wiped up, but everyday spills, pet bowls, and wet boots will not swell the seams the way they do on ordinary laminate.
Which rooms is Finsa suitable for?
An ac6 wear rating. In practice that covers main floors, hallways, living rooms, and busy family spaces, and its water-resistant core adds kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and entries.
What warranty does Finsa carry?
Finsa is backed by a 15-year residential and 10-year commercial warranty. Terms vary with the application, and we will confirm the coverage for your specific use before you order.
Where can I see Finsa near me?
You can see Grandeur Flooring Finsa at both Squarefoot Flooring showrooms, in Mississauga at 700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, and in Barrie at 112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4. A full plank under room light reads very differently from a photo, so we recommend seeing a sample before deciding.
