Grandeur Flooring Finsa Water-Resistant Laminate
Spills, wet boots, and pet bowls are where ordinary laminate gives up, right at the seams.
In simple terms: Grandeur Flooring Finsa is a 12mm AC6 rated water-resistant laminate, a floor built to take water in the rooms where that matters. Squarefoot Flooring carries it, and our own crew installs it.
Finsa runs a 12mm board on the thicker end of the range, which gives a solid, quiet step and bridges minor subfloor irregularities better than thin planks. It carries an AC6 wear rating, the toughest residential and commercial class. The surface is finished with a natural wood-look texture. It installs with a glue-free floating click installation that keeps labour costs down and lets the floor be lifted and reused later. Made in Spain. It has a water-resistant core, which lets it handle the spills and humidity that would swell a standard laminate at the joints. It is backed by a 15-year residential and 10-year commercial warranty.
Because of that core, Finsa holds up in the rooms that sink a standard laminate: kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and entries. The range includes tones such as Arles Natural, Fado Brisa, Fado Gavia, Fado Sotavento, and Kalas Albar.
Decision line: Finsa is the pick wherever water is a factor, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and entries; keep a standard laminate for the dry rooms to save.
Our own in-house team installs Grandeur Flooring Finsa across the Toronto and Mississauga area, Barrie, and Simcoe County, never subcontracted. A floating laminate is only as good as the floor under it, so we level the subfloor, set the right underlayment, and finish the trim. See our laminate installation page.
A photo flattens the texture, so see Finsa in person before deciding. It is at both showrooms, you can contact us for current stock, and the vinyl vs laminate guide helps if you are still choosing a material.
