It has a wire-brushed surface that lifts the grain and hides everyday wear, and comes in a 6-1/2"-wide plank. Beneath the surface, a dimensionally stable engineered core keeps Barbados flat over concrete, in a basement, or through Ontario's seasons where a solid board would cup, and the real-wood wear layer can be refinished. It carries a 35 year residential warranty.
