The detail behind that: The core is WPC, wood-polymer composite, the more comfortable of the rigid cores. It has a touch more give than stone-based rigid-core, so it feels softer and warmer to walk on while staying stable and flat. The wear layer is a heavy 30 mil, built for commercial traffic, so a busy household barely touches it. On vinyl, that mil number is the best single predictor of how long the floor keeps looking new, more than thickness or price. Water is a non-issue: it is 100% waterproof through the whole tile, which is what makes it the go-to for bathrooms, kitchens, and below-grade rooms. It comes with an attached acoustic pad, which softens sound between floors and means one less layer to buy and lay. It comes in a 9 inch width. It is backed by a 20-year Light commercial warranty.
