Why Dwell 3080V Stands Out

Waterproof, hard-wearing, and warmer underfoot than tile: that combination is why vinyl ends up in so many Toronto kitchens and finished basements.

In simple terms: Shaw Floors Dwell 3080V is luxury vinyl plank, a wood-look floor that is 100% waterproof and built to take real-life traffic. It is WPC, Squarefoot Flooring carries it and our own crew installs it.

The build and the spec: This is a WPC floor, a wood-polymer composite core that is rigid like rigid-core but with a little more give, so it feels warmer and softer underfoot and runs quieter, a nice touch in kitchens and rooms you stand in for a while. The 20 mil wear layer puts it in heavy-residential, light-commercial territory, which is where vinyl earns its keep in a family home. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. An attached acoustic underlayment cuts down sound transfer and adds a little underfoot comfort, and it saves a separate pad on install. Planks run up to 9 inches wide and 60 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. It is backed by a Resilient Lifetime residential warranty. Colours in the range include Fireside Brown, Genuine Greige, Cozy Taupe, Light Roast, and Gossamer Grey.

Our own crew installs Shaw Floors Dwell 3080V across the Toronto and Mississauga area, Barrie, and Simcoe County, never subcontracted. A floating vinyl floor still needs a clean, flat base, so we level and prep first, then finish the trim and transitions. See our vinyl installation page.

Decision line: Dwell 3080V is the warmer, softer-feeling option, a good fit where comfort underfoot is worth a slightly thicker board.

A sample chip never shows how Dwell 3080V looks across a whole room. See it at our Mississauga or Barrie store, contact us about availability, and compare materials on the vinyl vs laminate guide. See more Shaw Floors options on our Shaw Floors page.

Still Have Questions?

Quick answers about this collection before you buy.

What is Shaw Floors Dwell 3080V?
Shaw Floors Dwell 3080V is a WPC (wood polymer composite) luxury vinyl plank, 100% waterproof, with a 20 mil wear layer. Squarefoot Flooring carries it and installs it with our own crew.
Is Dwell 3080V really waterproof?
Yes. Dwell 3080V is 100% waterproof through the whole plank, not just water-resistant on the surface, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and basements. Standing water will not damage the floor itself, though you should still wipe up spills so they do not sit at the edges.
How durable is Dwell 3080V?
Durability on vinyl comes down to the wear layer, and Dwell 3080V has a 20 mil layer, a heavy-residential to light-commercial thickness that handles pets, kids, and busy rooms. The mil rating predicts how long it keeps looking new better than the overall thickness does.
Is Dwell 3080V suitable for a condo?
It can be. Dwell 3080V includes an attached acoustic pad, which helps it meet the sound requirements most Toronto and Mississauga condo boards set. Always confirm your building's exact rating before ordering, and we can help match it.
Where can I see Dwell 3080V near me?
You can see Shaw Floors Dwell 3080V at both Squarefoot Flooring showrooms, in Mississauga at 700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, and in Barrie at 112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4. Texture and colour read differently across a full floor, so we recommend seeing a sample first.
