Vinyl plank lives or dies on two things: the wear layer up top and the locking system that holds it together. Purelux is easy to recommend on both. It is a Canadian company that built its whole vinyl line around a 5G drop-lock system and a 20 mil wear layer, the thickness most brands keep for commercial floors, and it backs the range with FloorScore and Greenguard certification for low indoor emissions.
In simple terms: Purelux gives you three material families under one brand. A deep vinyl line in SPC and WPC, a 14mm laminate, and engineered hardwood in real white oak and maple. If you want one supplier to floor a whole house room by room, this is a practical place to start.
Purelux vinyl: the core of the line
The vinyl collections are waterproof SPC and WPC planks that click together and float over your subfloor. Dynamix is the 7mm everyday plank with a stone-composite core and a stain-resistant surface. Imperlux uses a wider, longer plank over a cork underpad, which suits open rooms and softens the step. Journey is the thicker 9mm plank with a 22 mil wear layer and embossed-in-register texture that lines the grain up with the print for a more real look. Pillow Bevel adds a softly rounded edge, and Purelux WPC uses a wood-composite core for a warmer, more cushioned feel underfoot. If you want a glue-down floor for a high-traffic space, Dynamic Drop bonds flat to the subfloor instead of floating.
Purelux laminate
Betten is the Purelux laminate, a 14mm board with an AC4 wear rating and an attached pad that quiets the floor and adds comfort. Laminate is the call when you want a hard-wearing wood look for living rooms and bedrooms that stay dry.
Purelux engineered hardwood
For real wood, Purelux Oak and Purelux Maple are engineered boards with a genuine hardwood top layer over a stable core. Engineered construction handles Ontario humidity swings better than solid wood, so it can go on, above, or below grade, including rooms where solid hardwood would not be safe.
Which Purelux floor suits your room
For kitchens, bathrooms, and basements where water is a factor, choose one of the waterproof vinyl collections. For a wood look in dry living areas, Betten laminate does the job. For the warmth and resale value of real wood, go with Purelux Oak or Maple. Our team can walk you through all three in person and match the right one to your subfloor, your room, and your daily traffic.
Purelux sits alongside the rest of our vinyl flooring, laminate flooring, and engineered hardwood ranges. When you are ready to lay it, our in-house crews handle vinyl installation across Toronto, Mississauga, and Barrie, so the same company that sells you the floor fits it.
