Here is what matters on this one. This is an rigid-core floor, stone polymer composite, which means a dense rigid core that stays dead flat and dimensionally stable. It will not expand, contract, or telegraph small subfloor flaws the way flexible vinyl can, and it floats into place over most existing surfaces. The 22 mil wear layer puts it in heavy-residential, light-commercial territory, which is where vinyl earns its keep in a family home. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. Planks run up to 7 inches wide and 64 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. The surface is embossed in register, so the texture follows the printed grain and reads convincingly like wood. It is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality and GREENGUARD certified.
