Why Dynamic Drop Stands Out

Waterproof, hard-wearing, and warmer underfoot than tile: that combination is why vinyl ends up in so many Toronto kitchens and finished basements.

In simple terms: Purelux Floors Dynamic Drop gives you the look of real wood in a waterproof, hard-wearing vinyl floor. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it and installs it with our own team.

Decision line: choose Dynamic Drop for large open areas, commercial spaces, or anywhere a dead-flat, no-bounce floor matters, and budget for proper subfloor prep.

The detail behind that: This is a flexible glue-down vinyl. Bonded to the subfloor with full-spread adhesive, it stays put under heavy traffic and rolling loads, which is why it is a fixture in offices and busy commercial spaces. The trade-off is that it demands proper subfloor prep to look right. It has a 20 mil wear layer, the sweet spot for busy homes and light commercial rooms, well above the builder-grade 6 to 12 mil you find in big-box vinyl. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. Planks run up to 7 inches wide and 48 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. It is also FloorScore certified for indoor air quality. Colours in the range include Omni, Row, Sahara, Sphere, and Westin.

Our own crew installs Purelux Floors Dynamic Drop across the Toronto and Mississauga area, Barrie, and Simcoe County, never subcontracted. Glue-down vinyl rewards a flat, dry subfloor, so prep is where we spend the time, then finish the trim and transitions. See our vinyl installation page.

Vinyl reads differently across a full floor than in a small sample, so it is worth seeing Dynamic Drop in person at either store. Still Have Questions?

Quick answers about this collection before you buy.

What is Purelux Floors Dynamic Drop?
Purelux Floors Dynamic Drop is a glue-down luxury vinyl plank, 100% waterproof, with a 20 mil wear layer. Squarefoot Flooring carries it and installs it with our own crew.
Is Dynamic Drop really waterproof?
Yes. Dynamic Drop is 100% waterproof through the whole plank, not just water-resistant on the surface, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and basements. Standing water will not damage the floor itself, though you should still wipe up spills so they do not sit at the edges.
How durable is Dynamic Drop?
Durability on vinyl comes down to the wear layer, and Dynamic Drop has a 20 mil layer, a heavy-residential to light-commercial thickness that handles pets, kids, and busy rooms. The mil rating predicts how long it keeps looking new better than the overall thickness does.
How is Dynamic Drop installed?
Dynamic Drop is a glue-down vinyl, bonded directly to a smooth, flat, dry subfloor with full-spread adhesive. It lies flat with no hollow sound and suits large or high-traffic areas, and our crew handles the subfloor prep that makes or breaks the result.
Where can I see Dynamic Drop near me?
You can see Purelux Floors Dynamic Drop at both Squarefoot Flooring showrooms, in Mississauga at 700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, and in Barrie at 112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4. Texture and colour read differently across a full floor, so we recommend seeing a sample first.
