Purelux Floors Maple Engineered Hardwood

Purelux Floors Maple is maple engineered hardwood, real wood over a stable core. See it at our Mississauga and Barrie showrooms, or browse online.

Most people choose engineered hardwood for the look and keep it for the stability, the part you only appreciate after a few Ontario winters.

In simple terms: Purelux Floors Maple is real maple over a multi-ply core. The surface is the same wood you would get in a solid floor; the core is what keeps it flat over a slab, in a basement, or through the seasons. We stock it and our crew installs it.

Decision line: choose Purelux Maple when you want genuine hardwood that will stay flat over a slab or in a basement.

The detail behind that: It is real maple, a fine, even grain that reads light and clean, at home in contemporary spaces. On the Janka scale Maple runs about 1450, harder than oak and a strong choice for high-traffic rooms. The wear layer is 2mm of real wood, enough for one careful refinish down the road. The core is the quiet workhorse here. A multi-ply core resists the expansion and contraction that makes solid wood cup, gap, or lift. Widths run from 4 to 6 1/2 inches, so you can keep it classic or go wide-plank and modern. The surface is wire-brushed, which lifts the grain for texture and quietly hides everyday wear. It is a character grade, with natural colour variation and knots. It carries a 35-year residential / 8-year light commercial warranty.

Our installers handle Purelux Floors Maple from subfloor moisture testing to the final trim, across the GTA, Barrie, and Simcoe County, with no subcontractors. Over concrete we typically glue down, over plywood we nail or float, and the prep is where the job is won. See the hardwood installation page.

Wood reads differently across a full floor than in a sample chip, so it is worth seeing Purelux Maple under room light at either showroom. Contact us to check availability, or browse the full hardwood flooring range. You can browse the complete Purelux Floors lineup on our Purelux Floors page.
