The detail behind that: WPC means a wood-polymer composite core. It keeps the stability of rigid vinyl but adds a bit of cushion, so it is warmer and quieter underfoot than a stone core, which people notice most in kitchens and family rooms. It has a 22 mil wear layer, the sweet spot for busy homes and light commercial rooms, well above the builder-grade 6 to 12 mil you find in big-box vinyl. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. Water is a non-issue: it is 100% waterproof through the whole plank, which is what makes it the go-to for bathrooms, kitchens, and below-grade rooms. Planks run up to 8 inches wide and 60 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. On the health side, it is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality and GREENGUARD certified. Colours in the range include Earthy Elegance, Anne, Fleet, Lobord, and Parnell.
