Midgley West Pietra Lavica Nebula Tile 12"x24" - Lappato

The Pietra Lavica Nebula in 12" x 24" is the everyday format, and it is popular for a reason: it covers ground quickly and still works around fixtures without a pile of offcuts. The lappato finish is part polished, part matte, which gives you some shine without the full slip of a polish. The density is the point with porcelain: very little water gets in, which is what keeps it stable in a bathroom or a laundry. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 4 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. A box holds 11.63 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 10 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. Both our Mississauga and Barrie stores have it out, and we can get you a loose piece to take home.
