About this product
Pietra Lavica Nebula, 24" x 24", is the everyday format, and it is popular for a reason: it covers ground quickly and still works around fixtures without a pile of offcuts. The lappato finish is part polished, part matte, which gives you some shine without the full slip of a polish. Fired harder and denser than ceramic, porcelain copes with freeze and thaw as well, so a covered porch or a three season room is fair game. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 4 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. A box holds 11.63 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 10 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
