Midgley West Pietra Lavica Fuligo Tessere Mosaic Tile 13"x13"- Lappato

Pietra Lavica Fuligo Tessere - Lappato, 13" x 13", hits the middle. Fewer grout lines than a small tile, none of the handling that comes with large format. The lappato finish is part polished, part matte, which gives you some shine without the full slip of a polish. The density is the point with porcelain: very little water gets in, which is what keeps it stable in a bathroom or a laundry. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 4 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. Work on 5.71 sq ft a box. That puts a 100 sq ft floor at 20 boxes with ten percent in hand, which is what you want for cuts and breakage. It is on display in Mississauga and Barrie if you want to see a full sheet rather than a photograph.
