Midgley West Ghost Rope Mosaic Tile 2"x2" Quadretti - Matte

The Ghost Rope in 2" x 2" goes where a full tile cannot: shower pans, niches, the strip behind a tap. A matte surface stays reasonably grippy wet and will not throw glare across the room. The low absorption is the reason porcelain ends up in wet rooms and entries. It takes water, salt and grit without complaint. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 4 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. Work on 3.88 sq ft a box. That puts a 100 sq ft floor at 29 boxes with ten percent in hand, which is what you want for cuts and breakage. Expect a lot of grout with a sheet this small, so the grout colour will do as much to the finished look as the tile does. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
