Midgley West Ghost Grey Mosaic Tile 2"x2" Quadretti - Matte

Pieces this small are what make a shower floor work, and Ghost Grey, 2" x 2", is no exception: the mesh follows the fall to the drain instead of fighting it. Matte is the safer finish underfoot once water gets on it, and it hides the day to day better than a polish does. Porcelain is fired dense enough that water is not an issue, indoors or in a sheltered spot outside. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 4 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. A box holds 3.88 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 29 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. There is far more grout per square foot here than with a big tile. Pick the grout colour deliberately, because it is half of what you will see. Come and see it in Mississauga or Barrie. Tile rarely looks the same in a store as it does on a phone screen.
