Midgley West Ghost Grey Tile 48"x108" - Matte

The Ghost Grey in 48" x 108" is a panel rather than a tile. It is a two-person lift and a specialist install, and the payoff is a surface with almost no joints in it. The matte face keeps some grip when it is wet and does not show every water mark, which is why it is the usual pick for a bathroom floor. Porcelain absorbs almost no water, which is what lets it go into a shower, a mudroom or a covered porch without any fuss. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 4 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. A box holds 34.84 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 4 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
