Midgley West Ghost Ivory Tile 12"x48" - Matte

The Ghost Ivory in 12" x 48" is large format, so you get far fewer grout lines and a floor that reads as one surface rather than a grid. The matte face keeps some grip when it is wet and does not show every water mark, which is why it is the usual pick for a bathroom floor. The density is the point with porcelain: very little water gets in, which is what keeps it stable in a bathroom or a laundry. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 4 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. Work on 15.5 sq ft a box. That puts a 100 sq ft floor at 8 boxes with ten percent in hand, which is what you want for cuts and breakage. Both the Mississauga and Barrie stores keep it out, so you can put it beside your cabinet door or a paint chip before you commit.
