Midgley West Ghost Ivory Tile 12"x24" - Matte

The Ghost Ivory in 12" x 24" hits the middle. Fewer grout lines than a small tile, none of the handling that comes with large format. A matte surface stays reasonably grippy wet and will not throw glare across the room. Porcelain absorbs almost no water, which is what lets it go into a shower, a mudroom or a covered porch without any fuss. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 4 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. A box holds 11.63 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 10 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. Both the Mississauga and Barrie stores keep it out, so you can put it beside your cabinet door or a paint chip before you commit.
