The detail behind that: This is a flexible glue-down vinyl. Bonded to the subfloor with full-spread adhesive, it stays put under heavy traffic and rolling loads, which is why it is a fixture in offices and busy commercial spaces. The trade-off is that it demands proper subfloor prep to look right. It has a 12 mil wear layer, enough for normal household traffic in bedrooms, living rooms, and quieter spaces.
