That makes it rock-solid underfoot with no movement or hollow sound, ideal for big open areas and commercial rooms, and a single tile can be replaced without disturbing the rest. A flat, dry subfloor is essential. It has a 12 mil wear layer, enough for normal household traffic in bedrooms, living rooms, and quieter spaces. Water is a non-issue: it is 100% waterproof through the whole tile, which is what makes it the go-to for bathrooms, kitchens, and below-grade rooms. Tiles come in a 12 by 24 inch format.
