In simple terms: MSI Surfaces XL Trecento is luxury vinyl tile, a stone-look floor that is 100% waterproof and built to take real-life traffic. Squarefoot Flooring carries it and our own crew installs it.

The build and the spec: This is a rigid-core vinyl tile, engineered to stay flat and stable over uneven subfloors and through temperature swings, and it floats into place without glue. It has a 12 mil wear layer, enough for normal household traffic in bedrooms, living rooms, and quieter spaces. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. It comes with an attached acoustic pad, which softens sound between floors and means one less layer to buy and lay. Tiles come in an 18 by 36 inch format. On the health side, it is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality and GREENGUARD certified. It is backed by a Lifetime residential warranty. Colours in the range include Calacatta Legend, Calacatta Marbello, Calacatta Venosa Gold, Carrara Avell, and White Ocean.
