This is a glue-down luxury vinyl tile, a flexible tile bonded straight to the subfloor. Glued down, it lies dead flat with no hollow sound, handles large open spans and commercial traffic, and lets you swap a single damaged tile without lifting the floor. It does need a smooth, flat, dry subfloor to look its best. It has a 22 mil wear layer, the sweet spot for busy homes and light commercial rooms, well above the builder-grade 6 to 12 mil you find in big-box vinyl. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. Tiles come in a 12 by 24 inch format. Micro-bevelled edges define each plank for a more authentic look. On the health side, it is GREENGUARD certified. It is backed by a Lifetime residential and 15-year commercial warranty.
