In simple terms: Grandeur Flooring Ultimate is a loose lay vinyl plank with a commercial-grade 28 mil wear layer and the widest plank in the range, fully waterproof and fast to lift. We carry it and install it in-house.

Ultimate uses a dense, high-friction backing instead of glue or a click joint, so the planks lie flat and stay put by weight, fast to install and faster to lift, a favourite for rentals, offices and access-floor situations. Its defining spec is the 28 mil wear layer, a commercial-grade thickness that shrugs off heavy traffic, pets and chairs, and on vinyl that mil number is the best single predictor of how long a floor keeps looking new. Planks run up to 12 inches wide and 48 inches long, the widest board Grandeur offers. It is FloorScore and GREENGUARD certified. Colours in the range include Lakeview, Humber Bay, Pier 17, Sunnyside, and Summer Wharf. Ultimate is also offered in a tile format alongside the planks.

It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements and entries are all fair game.
