This is a loose lay floor: no adhesive, no locking system, just a heavy grip backing that anchors each plank by friction. The appeal is simple, it goes down quickly and comes up just as easily when a plank needs replacing or you need under-floor access. The 20 mil wear layer puts it in heavy-residential, light-commercial territory, which is where vinyl earns its keep in a family home. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. Planks run up to 7 inches wide and 48 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. It is also FloorScore certified for indoor air quality and GREENGUARD certified. Colours in the range include Smoked Oak DW1909, Exotic Walnut DW3240, Barnboard DW3332, Weathered Oak DRT42, and Cloudy Sky DW3290.
