Richmond Flooring Paisley Engineered Hardwood
Real wood on top, a stable core underneath: that combination is why engineered hardwood ends up in more Toronto condos and finished basements than solid ever could.
In simple terms: Richmond Flooring Paisley pairs a real white oak top layer with an engineered core built for stability. It gives you a genuine wood floor that can go where solid planks cannot, and we carry and install it ourselves.
It is real white oak, a cooler, more contemporary cast with a tighter grain than red oak, and a touch harder. White Oak sits around 1360 on the Janka hardness scale, right at the oak benchmark for everyday durability. What you are paying for is stability. A cross-layered engineered core holds its shape across the seasonal humidity swing that moves solid wood. A low-sheen matte finish keeps dust and footprints from showing. Colours in the range include Medium.
Decision line: choose Paisley when you want genuine hardwood that will stay flat over a slab or in a basement.
Installation is in-house and never subcontracted, across the Toronto and Mississauga area up to Barrie and Simcoe County. Engineered board can be glued over a slab, floated, or nailed down, so we assess the subfloor, test for moisture, and pick the right method. Browse our projects or the hardwood installation page.
It is worth seeing Paisley in person before deciding. Visit either showroom, contact us to confirm current stock, and see more in the engineered hardwood range.
