Next Floor Monumental 526 Vinyl Tile Flooring
Good vinyl is not about the picture on the plank, it is about the wear layer on top and the core underneath.
In simple terms: Next Floor Monumental 526 is a stone-look vinyl tile that handles water, pets, and busy rooms without complaint. We carry it and install it in-house.
The tile is rigid-core, which keeps it flat and dimensionally stable over subfloors that are not perfectly level, and it clicks together as a floating floor with no adhesive. It has a 20 mil wear layer, the sweet spot for busy homes and light commercial rooms, well above the builder-grade 6 to 12 mil you find in big-box vinyl. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. It carries an IIC rating around 72 and an STC around 65, so it clears the sound-transfer rules most GTA condo boards set, a common sticking point in high-rises. Tiles come in a 12 by 24 inch format. Micro-bevelled edges define each plank for a more authentic look. On the health side, it is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality. It is backed by a Lifetime residential and 20-Year Moderate commercial warranty. Colours in the range include Travertino Argento, Latte Stone, Pizarra Crema, and Pizarra Rustica.
Decision line: choose Monumental 526 where you want a low-maintenance, water-friendly floor that still looks the part.
Installation is in-house and never subcontracted, across the Toronto and Mississauga area up to Barrie and Simcoe County. We check the subfloor, prep it, and set the floor, then handle the trim. Browse our projects or the vinyl installation page.
Vinyl reads differently across a full floor than in a small sample, so it is worth seeing Monumental 526 in person at either showroom. Contact us to check current stock, or browse the full vinyl tile range. For more on what waterproof really means, see our is flooring waterproof guide.
