Beaulieu Littora Water-Resistant Laminate

In a busy kitchen or entry, the question is not whether water hits the floor but whether the floor can take it.

In simple terms: Beaulieu Littora is a 14.3mm AC5 rated water-resistant laminate, a floor built to take water in the rooms where that matters. Squarefoot Flooring carries it, and our own crew installs it.

The Littora range is built around an embossed-in-register wood-grain surface. The range includes tones such as Abyssal, Coralline, Cormorant, Loch, and Nautilus.

The construction backs up the look. Littora runs a substantial 14.3mm board that feels closest to real hardwood underfoot and is the most forgiving over an imperfect subfloor. It carries an AC5 wear rating, the level specified for light commercial use, so it shrugs off heavy household traffic, rentals, and high-use entries. The surface is embossed in register, so the texture lines up with the printed grain and the floor reads and feels like real wood rather than a flat photo. It installs with a Valinge angle-and-drop click system, a glue-free floating install that keeps labour costs down and lets the floor be lifted and reused later. It has a water-resistant core, which lets it handle the spills and humidity that would swell a standard laminate at the joints. It also carries an IIC sound rating of 63.0. That construction is what lets Littora go where ordinary laminate cannot: kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and entries, and anywhere a spill or wet boot is part of daily life.

Decision line: choose Littora for any room that meets water, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and entries; for dry bedrooms and living rooms, a standard laminate will also do the job for less.
