Beaulieu Archipel Vinyl Plank Flooring

Beaulieu Archipel is luxury vinyl plank with a rigid SPC core, 100% waterproof, a 20 mil wear layer, carried and installed by Squarefoot Flooring. See it at our Mississauga and Barrie showrooms, or browse online.

Waterproof, hard-wearing, and warmer underfoot than tile: that combination is why vinyl ends up in so many Toronto kitchens and finished basements.

In simple terms: Beaulieu Archipel is luxury vinyl plank, a wood-look floor that is 100% waterproof and built to take real-life traffic. It is SPC, Squarefoot Flooring carries it and our own crew installs it.

Decision line: reach for Archipel where stability and waterproofing lead the list: basements, kitchens, condos, and over concrete.

The detail behind that: The core here is SPC, a stone-and-polymer composite that is denser and more rigid than standard vinyl. That rigidity is what lets it sit flat over an imperfect subfloor and hold its shape year-round, and it installs as a floating click floor. The 20 mil wear layer puts it in heavy-residential, light-commercial territory, which is where vinyl earns its keep in a family home. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. Because it is 100% waterproof rather than just water-resistant, you can put it in the rooms that rule out wood and laminate, full baths, laundry rooms, kitchens, and basements. With an IIC rating around 73 and an STC around 72 and an attached acoustic pad, it meets the sound ratings most Toronto and Mississauga condo boards require, which is often the deciding factor in a high-rise. Planks run up to 8 inches wide and 72 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. The surface is embossed in register, so the texture follows the printed grain and reads convincingly like wood. Painted micro-bevelled edges frame each plank and hide the seams. It is also FloorScore certified for indoor air quality and phthalate-free. It is backed by a Lifetime residential and 15-year commercial warranty. Colours in the range include Andamas, Antilles, Comores, Malay, and Galapagos.

Installation is in-house and never subcontracted, across the Toronto and Mississauga area up to Barrie and Simcoe County. We check the subfloor, prep it, and set the floor, then handle the trim. Browse our projects or the vinyl installation page.

We keep Archipel at both showrooms, where the texture and colour read properly. Contact us for stock, or start from our Toronto and Mississauga vinyl pages. For more on what waterproof really means, see our is flooring waterproof guide.
