Ask any installer what separates good engineered hardwood from the rest and they will point at the wear layer, not the price tag.
In simple terms: Fuzion Flooring Demure pairs a real oak top layer with an engineered core built for stability. It gives you a genuine wood floor that can go where solid planks cannot, and we carry and install it ourselves.
It comes in Oak and White Oak. Stability comes from the build: a multi-ply core that takes the seasonal swing in stride instead of telegraphing it into the floor. That is why it may be suitable for on-grade or above-grade use, and some collections for below-grade use when approved, including basements and concrete slabs, and over in-floor radiant heat, places solid hardwood cannot. Planks run 6 1/2 inches wide, a wide-plank look that shows off the grain. A low-sheen finish keeps dust and footprints from showing. Micro-bevelled edges give each plank a defined line and absorb the seasonal movement of a wood floor. It carries a 35-year residential and lifetime structural warranty.
Decision line: pick the species for the room, a harder one like oak or hickory for busy main floors, a softer walnut for formal spaces, then let the wear-layer thickness tell you how long it will last.
Our installers handle Fuzion Flooring Demure from subfloor moisture testing to the final trim, across the GTA, Barrie, and Simcoe County, with no subcontractors. Over concrete we typically glue down, over plywood we nail or float, and the prep is where the job is won. See the hardwood installation page.
It is worth seeing Demure in person before deciding. Visit either store, contact us to confirm current stock, and see more in the engineered hardwood range. Because it is rated for radiant heat, it also pairs with the in-floor heating membranes we stock. For the full Fuzion Flooring range, see our Fuzion Flooring page.
