Richmond Flooring Corestone Vinyl Tile Flooring
If a room sees water, pets, or heavy traffic, vinyl tends to be the practical answer, as long as you read past the photo to the build.
In simple terms: Richmond Flooring Corestone is a stone-look vinyl tile that handles water, pets, and busy rooms without complaint. We carry it and install it in-house.
Decision line: Corestone is the choice when you want a thin, rock-solid, fully waterproof floor that hides an imperfect subfloor and goes just about anywhere.
The detail behind that: The core here is SPC, a stone-and-polymer composite that is denser and more rigid than standard vinyl. That rigidity is what lets it sit flat over an imperfect subfloor and hold its shape year-round, and it installs as a floating click floor. It has a 12 mil wear layer, enough for normal household traffic in bedrooms, living rooms, and quieter spaces. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. Tiles come in a 12 by 24 inch format. Micro-bevelled edges define each plank for a more authentic look. On the health side, it is GREENGUARD certified. It is backed by a 25-year residential and 5-year Light commercial warranty. Colours in the range include Marrona, Chase, Glow Up, and Adonis.
We install Richmond Flooring Corestone with our own team, not subcontractors, across the GTA, Barrie, and Simcoe County. It floats over most existing hard floors once the base is flat and dry. Read how we work on the vinyl installation page, or see our projects.
Vinyl reads differently across a full floor than in a small sample, so it is worth seeing Corestone in person at either showroom. Contact us to check current stock, or browse the full vinyl tile range. The is flooring waterproof guide breaks down how waterproof vinyl compares.
