In simple terms: Richmond Flooring Accord is a 12mm AC4 rated water-resistant laminate, waterproof enough for kitchens, baths, and entries. We carry it and install it in-house.

Here is what you are actually buying. Accord runs a 12mm board on the thicker end of the range, which gives a solid, quiet step and bridges minor subfloor irregularities better than thin planks. It carries an AC4 wear rating, a step above standard that holds up to busy family households, hallways, and main floors. The surface is an embossed wood grain for a natural look and a little underfoot grip. It installs with a drop-lock click system, a glue-free floating install that keeps labour costs down and lets the floor be lifted and reused later. It has a water-resistant core, which lets it handle the spills and humidity that would swell a standard laminate at the joints. It is also antimicrobial. It is backed by a Lifetime residential and 10-year commercial warranty.
