In simple terms: 1867 Floors Evolution Azura is a stone-look vinyl tile that handles water, pets, and busy rooms without complaint. We carry it and install it in-house.

The build and the spec: This is an rigid-core floor, stone polymer composite, which means a dense rigid core that stays dead flat and dimensionally stable. It will not expand, contract, or telegraph small subfloor flaws the way flexible vinyl can, and it floats into place over most existing surfaces. Because it is 100% waterproof rather than just water-resistant, you can put it in the rooms that rule out wood and laminate, full baths, laundry rooms, kitchens, and basements. An attached acoustic underlayment cuts down sound transfer and adds a little underfoot comfort, and it saves a separate pad on install. Tiles come in a 12 by 24 inch format. Colours in the range include Calacatta, Nero Marquina, Terrazzo Silver, Terrazzo Grey, and Terrazzo Marengo.
