In simple terms: Anderson Tuftex Sketch Anderson Tuftex is traditional wall-to-wall carpet, installed over an underpad for comfort and sound control. It is a soft, warm choice for bedrooms, stairs, and living spaces, and we install it in-house.

Here is what matters with this one. It is a cut-and-loop carpet, which combines cut yarns and loops to sculpt a pattern into the surface. That high-low texture hides soil and footprints and adds visual interest without a printed look, a versatile middle ground between plush and loop. The fiber is nylon, the most resilient carpet fiber there is: it springs back from foot traffic instead of matting down, takes cleaning well, and holds up on stairs and in busy rooms better than any other fiber. A Softbac backing is more flexible and quieter than a traditional stiff backing, which makes it easier to fit cleanly around a room and less prone to wrinkling over time. Its 35 to 36 oz per square yard face weight is on the lighter side, a fit for bedrooms and quieter rooms. It comes on standard 12-foot-wide rolls, so a typical room needs only one or two planned seams. It is made in the USA. Colours in the range include Almond Milk, Salt Box, Bungalow, Aria, Minimal, and Morning Light.

Think bedrooms, family rooms, home theatres, stairs, and lower levels: anywhere you want a soft, warm, quiet floor. Carpet also absorbs sound between rooms and floors, which helps in condos and busy households. Keep it out of bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms where moisture is a constant.

This installs the traditional way: a separate carpet underpad goes down first, perimeter tack strips hold the edges, and our own installers power-stretch the carpet so it lies drum-tight, then heat-weld any seams so they vanish.
