1867 Floors Pavia Engineered Hardwood

1867 Floors Pavia is white oak engineered hardwood, real wood over a stable core. See it at our Mississauga and Barrie showrooms, or browse online.

Real wood on top, a stable core underneath: that combination is why engineered hardwood ends up in more Toronto condos and finished basements than solid ever could.

In simple terms: 1867 Floors Pavia is real white oak over a multi-ply core. The surface is the same wood you would get in a solid floor; the core is what keeps it flat over a slab, in a basement, or through the seasons. We stock it and our crew installs it.

The wood and the build: It is real white oak, a cooler, more contemporary cast with a tighter grain than red oak, and a touch harder. White Oak sits around 1360 on the Janka hardness scale, right at the oak benchmark for everyday durability. Underneath the wood is a cross-layered engineered core, and that is the whole point: it keeps the floor flat where a solid board would react to the seasons. Planks run 5 3/4 inches wide. The surface is wire-brushed, which lifts the grain for texture and quietly hides everyday wear. Colours in the range include Calabria.

Our installers handle 1867 Floors Pavia from subfloor moisture testing to the final trim, across the GTA, Barrie, and Simcoe County, with no subcontractors. Over concrete we typically glue down, over plywood we nail or float, and the prep is where the job is won. See the hardwood installation page.

Decision line: choose Pavia when you want genuine hardwood that will stay flat over a slab or in a basement.

Wood reads differently across a full floor than in a sample chip, so it is worth seeing Pavia under room light at either showroom. Contact us to check availability, or browse the full hardwood flooring range.
