Simba Flooring Walnut Wood Engineered Hardwood

Simba Flooring Walnut Wood is walnut engineered hardwood, real wood over a stable core. See it at our Mississauga and Barrie showrooms, or browse online.

Most people choose engineered hardwood for the look and keep it for the stability, the part you only appreciate after a few Ontario winters.

In simple terms: Simba Flooring Walnut Wood is a real-wood floor, a layer of genuine walnut bonded to a stable engineered core. It looks and feels like solid hardwood, but the core lets it handle concrete, basements, and humidity that would move a solid plank. We carry it and our own crew installs it.

It is real walnut, a deep chocolate tone with a soft, formal character. On the Janka scale Walnut runs about 1010, below oak, so it favours lower-traffic, formal spaces. The wear layer is 2mm of real wood, enough for one careful refinish down the road. The real advantage is underneath: a multi-ply core that stays flat through Ontario's dry winters and humid summers, where a solid plank would cup or gap. Planks run 7 1/2 inches wide, a wide-plank look that shows off the grain. It carries a 25-year warranty. Colours in the range include Natural.

Decision line: Simba Walnut Wood is the practical middle ground, real wood with the stability to go over concrete, into basements, and across the seasons.

We install Simba Flooring Walnut Wood with our own team, not subcontractors, across the GTA, Barrie, and Simcoe County. The method depends on the subfloor, glued to concrete, floated, or nailed to plywood, and a flat, dry base matters more than anything. A small sample never shows how Simba Walnut Wood moves across a whole room. See it at our Mississauga or Barrie showroom, contact us about availability, and compare materials on the hardwood vs vinyl guide.
