Twelve Oaks Flooring Antique Perspective Plus Engineered Hardwood
The reason engineered hardwood exists is simple. Concrete slabs, basements, and radiant heat will destroy a solid floor, and engineered was built to handle all three.
In simple terms: Twelve Oaks Flooring Antique Perspective Plus is engineered hardwood, which means a real white oak surface over a cross-layered core. You get the look of solid wood with the stability to put it over concrete or in a basement. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it and installs it in-house.
The wood and the build: It comes in White Oak and Acacia. The real advantage is underneath: a cross-layered engineered core that stays flat through Ontario's dry winters and humid summers, where a solid plank would cup or gap. Colours in the range include Light Natural, Medium Brown, Light Grey, and Dark Brown.
We install Twelve Oaks Flooring Antique Perspective Plus with our own team, not subcontractors, across the GTA, Barrie, and Simcoe County. The method depends on the subfloor, glued to concrete, floated, or nailed to plywood, and a flat, dry base matters more than anything. Read how we work on the hardwood installation page, or see our projects.
Decision line: pick the species for the room, a harder one like oak or hickory for busy main floors, a softer walnut for formal spaces, then let the wear-layer thickness tell you how long it will last.
We keep Antique Perspective Plus at both showrooms, where the grain, sheen, and colour read properly. Contact us about availability, or start from our Toronto and Barrie hardwood pages. You can browse the complete Twelve Oaks Flooring lineup on our Twelve Oaks Flooring page.
