In simple terms: Impressive Floors Sahara is a 12mm AC5 rated laminate, a practical wood-look floor for dry living areas. We carry it and install it in-house.

With that wear rating, Sahara is built for main floors, hallways, living rooms, and busy family spaces, and stands up to rentals and light commercial use that would wear a basic floor within a few years. The range includes tones such as Beige, Blue, Cream, Fruit, and Gold.

The build behind that: Sahara runs a 12mm board on the thicker end of the range, which gives a solid, quiet step and bridges minor subfloor irregularities better than thin planks. It carries an AC5 wear rating, the level specified for light commercial use, so it shrugs off heavy household traffic, rentals, and high-use entries. It installs with a click-lock system, a glue-free floating install that keeps labour costs down and lets the floor be lifted and reused later. It is backed by a 35-year residential and 3-year commercial warranty.

Decision line: the wear rating makes Sahara the pick for the hardest-working rooms and for rentals; step up to water-resistant only if the floor will regularly meet water.
