Midgley West Storm White Mosaic Tile 2"x2" - Natural

The Storm White in 2" x 2" comes on a mesh sheet, which is the only sensible way to tile a shower pan or wrap a curved wall. The natural surface keeps its texture, which is what you want where feet arrive wet. The density is the point with porcelain: very little water gets in, which is what keeps it stable in a bathroom or a laundry. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 3 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. A box holds 3.88 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 29 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. Expect a lot of grout with a sheet this small, so the grout colour will do as much to the finished look as the tile does. It is on display in Mississauga and Barrie if you want to see a full sheet rather than a photograph.
