Midgley West Storm Sand Tile 24"x48" - Natural

Storm Sand, 24" x 48", is large enough that the subfloor has to be flat first, because a tile this size telegraphs every dip underneath. The look is worth the prep. The natural surface keeps its texture, which is what you want where feet arrive wet. Porcelain is the hard wearing one. It is what we put down in a hallway, an entry or anywhere boots and grit arrive. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 3 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. Each box covers 15.5 sq ft. For a 100 sq ft room order 8 and you have your ten percent for cuts and a couple spare for repairs later. It is on display in Mississauga and Barrie if you want to see a full sheet rather than a photograph.
