A natural finish holds grip when it is wet and does not show water spotting the way a polished face does. Porcelain absorbs almost no water, which is what lets it go into a shower, a mudroom or a covered porch without any fuss. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 3 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. Each box covers 3.88 sq ft. For a 100 sq ft room order 29 and you have your ten percent for cuts and a couple spare for repairs later. There is far more grout per square foot here than with a big tile. Pick the grout colour deliberately, because it is half of what you will see. Come and see it in Mississauga or Barrie. Tile rarely looks the same in a store as it does on a phone screen.
