Marmette White, 24" x 24", is the size most bathroom and kitchen floors settle on. Big enough that you are not grouting all weekend, small enough to cut cleanly around a vanity. A polished face looks deeper and brighter than a matte one. It also shows footprints and gets slippery wet, so place it accordingly. Porcelain is the hard wearing one, which is why it ends up in the rooms that get walked through. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 4 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. A box holds 11.63 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 10 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece.
