Midgley West Marmette Black Tile 24"x24" - Polished

Marmette Black, 24" x 24", hits the middle. Fewer grout lines than a small tile, none of the handling that comes with large format. Polished gives you the reflective surface, and the trade is grip: wet polished tile is slippery, so keep it off a wet floor and enjoy it on a wall or a dry room. Porcelain is fired dense all the way through, so a chip does not show a different colour underneath the way it can on a glazed ceramic. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 4 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. A box holds 11.63 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 10 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. Have a look at it in Mississauga or Barrie before you order, ideally next to whatever it is going beside.
