Unifloor Aquafix Signature Select Vinyl Plank Flooring

Unifloor Aquafix Signature Select is luxury vinyl plank with a rigid SPC core, 100% waterproof, a 20 mil wear layer, carried and installed by Squarefoot Flooring. See it at our Mississauga and Barrie showrooms, or browse online.

Most vinyl floors look fine in the box; what separates them is the wear layer, the thing that decides whether the floor still looks new in five years.

In simple terms: Unifloor Aquafix Signature Select gives you the look of real wood in a waterproof, hard-wearing vinyl floor. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it and installs it with our own team.

The build and the spec: The core here is SPC, a stone-and-polymer composite that is denser and more rigid than standard vinyl. That rigidity is what lets it sit flat over an imperfect subfloor and hold its shape year-round, and it installs as a floating click floor. It has a 20 mil wear layer, the sweet spot for busy homes and light commercial rooms, well above the builder-grade 6 to 12 mil you find in big-box vinyl. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. It comes with an attached acoustic pad, which softens sound between floors and means one less layer to buy and lay. Planks run up to 9 inches wide and 71 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. A low-sheen matte finish keeps glare and footprints down. Painted micro-bevelled edges frame each plank and hide the seams. It is also FloorScore certified for indoor air quality. It is backed by a Lifetime residential and 15-year commercial warranty. Colours in the range include Pavie, Margaux, Richebourg, Batailley, and Lafite.

Our own crew installs Unifloor Aquafix Signature Select across the Toronto and Mississauga area, Barrie, and Simcoe County, never subcontracted. A floating vinyl floor still needs a clean, flat base, so we level and prep first, then finish the trim and transitions. See our vinyl installation page.

Decision line: reach for Aquafix Signature Select where stability and waterproofing lead the list: basements, kitchens, condos, and over concrete.

A sample chip never shows how Aquafix Signature Select looks across a whole room. See it at our Mississauga or Barrie showroom, contact us about availability, and compare materials on the vinyl vs laminate guide.
