In simple terms: Kronoswiss Swiss Solid is a 12mm water-resistant laminate. It is meant for the rooms where water is part of daily life, and our own crew installs it.

The Swiss Solid range is built around a range of wood-look tones. The range includes tones such as Campania Oak, Toscano Oak, London Oak, and Minto Pine.

The construction backs up the look. Swiss Solid runs a 12mm board on the thicker end of the range, which gives a solid, quiet step and bridges minor subfloor irregularities better than thin planks. Made in Switzerland, a European source known for tight manufacturing tolerances. It has a water-resistant core, which lets it handle the spills and humidity that would swell a standard laminate at the joints. Because of that core, Swiss Solid holds up in the rooms that sink a standard laminate: kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and entries.

Decision line: choose Swiss Solid for any room that meets water, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and entries; for dry bedrooms and living rooms, a standard laminate will also do the job for less.
