Avalon Arena is a 24" x 24" porcelain tile with rectified edges, cut square after firing so the grout joint can close to about an eighth of an inch. The face carries the movement of split stone while staying flat enough to lay tight. Porcelain is pressed and fired denser than ceramic, which is what lets it take water, frost and daily traffic. The glaze is fired onto the body and carries the colour and pattern, which is what allows the stone and concrete looks. Porcelain of this density suits floors and walls through the home.
