Why Quality LVP Stands Out

If a room sees water, pets, or heavy traffic, vinyl tends to be the practical answer, as long as you read past the photo to the build.

In simple terms: Richmond Flooring Quality LVP is luxury vinyl plank, a wood-look floor that is 100% waterproof and built to take real-life traffic. Squarefoot Flooring carries it and our own crew installs it.

Decision line: choose Quality LVP for large open areas, commercial spaces, or anywhere a dead-flat, no-bounce floor matters, and budget for proper subfloor prep.

The detail behind that: This is a glue-down luxury vinyl plank, a flexible plank bonded straight to the subfloor. Glued down, it lies dead flat with no hollow sound, handles large open spans and commercial traffic, and lets you swap a single damaged plank without lifting the floor. It does need a smooth, flat, dry subfloor to look its best. It has a 22 mil wear layer, the sweet spot for busy homes and light commercial rooms, well above the builder-grade 6 to 12 mil you find in big-box vinyl. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. Water is a non-issue: it is 100% waterproof through the whole plank, which is what makes it the go-to for bathrooms, kitchens, and below-grade rooms. Planks run up to 9 inches wide and 60 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. A low-sheen matte finish keeps glare and footprints down. Micro-bevelled edges define each plank for a more authentic look. On the health side, it is GREENGUARD certified. It is backed by a Lifetime residential and 15-year commercial warranty. Colours in the range include St. Lawrence, Fraser, Grand, Athabasca, and Mackenzie.

Our own crew installs Richmond Flooring Quality LVP across the Toronto and Mississauga area, Barrie, and Simcoe County, never subcontracted. Glue-down vinyl rewards a flat, dry subfloor, so prep is where we spend the time, then finish the trim and transitions. See our vinyl installation page.

We keep Quality LVP at both stores, where the texture and colour read properly. Contact us for stock, or start from our Toronto and Mississauga vinyl pages. Our is flooring waterproof guide explains what waterproof actually covers.

Still Have Questions?

Quick answers about this collection before you buy.

What is Richmond Flooring Quality LVP?
Richmond Flooring Quality LVP is a glue-down luxury vinyl plank, 100% waterproof, with a 22 mil wear layer. Squarefoot Flooring carries it and installs it with our own crew.
Is Quality LVP really waterproof?
Yes. Quality LVP is 100% waterproof through the whole plank, not just water-resistant on the surface, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and basements. Standing water will not damage the floor itself, though you should still wipe up spills so they do not sit at the edges.
How durable is Quality LVP?
Durability on vinyl comes down to the wear layer, and Quality LVP has a 22 mil layer, a heavy-residential to light-commercial thickness that handles pets, kids, and busy rooms. The mil rating predicts how long it keeps looking new better than the overall thickness does.
How is Quality LVP installed?
Quality LVP is a glue-down vinyl, bonded directly to a smooth, flat, dry subfloor with full-spread adhesive. It lies flat with no hollow sound and suits large or high-traffic areas, and our crew handles the subfloor prep that makes or breaks the result.
Where can I see Quality LVP near me?
You can see Richmond Flooring Quality LVP at both Squarefoot Flooring showrooms, in Mississauga at 700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, and in Barrie at 112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4. Texture and colour read differently across a full floor, so we recommend seeing a sample first.
