Next Floor Dedication 712 Tile Carpet Tile Flooring
If you have ever hauled a roll of broadloom down a basement stairwell, the appeal of carpet tile is obvious: it comes in boxes, installs square by square, and repairs one tile at a time.
In simple terms: Next Floor Dedication 712 Tile is carpet plank, modular carpet you lay plank by plank and can repair one tile at a time. It is a comfortable, quiet, basement-friendly floor, and we install it in-house.
Because it is modular, a damaged plank is a five-minute fix: pull the affected tile, glue a replacement in its place, and the repair disappears. That same modularity is why the boxes are easy to move and lay in tight basement stairwells where a broadloom roll will not go.
The build and the spec: The face fiber is solution-dyed polypropylene, a practical, budget-friendly choice. Polypropylene is naturally resistant to stains and moisture, and solution-dyeing locks the colour in so it does not fade, though it is less springy than nylon, which makes it a better fit for lower-traffic rooms than for a busy hallway. The tiles come in a plank format of 13" x 39" planks. You can lay them in several patterns, including Basketweave, Brick, End Block, and Herringbone, and the pattern you choose changes the look and helps blend the tiles into a uniform floor. It is backed by a Lifetime Comprehensive Stain (no exclusions), Lifetime Backing Performance, Lifetime Commercial Wear warranty. Colours in the range include Limestone, Flannel, Soapstone, Tuxedo, North Sea, and Harvest.
Think basements, finished lower levels, home offices, kids' playrooms, and home theatres. Carpet tile is warm and soft underfoot, dampens sound between rooms and floors, and goes down over concrete, which is exactly what a basement needs.
Installation is glue-down. Our own crew, employees rather than subcontractors, starts by making sure the subfloor is clean, flat, and dry, including bare concrete in a basement. We plan the layout and dry-lay a few rows to set the pattern and check colour flow, then bond the tiles with full-spread adhesive, working out from the centre so the border tiles fall evenly. Individual tiles can be lifted and reglued later if one ever needs replacing.
Decision line: Dedication 712 Tile is the value-minded pick, best in bedrooms, quiet basements, and lower-traffic rooms where stain and moisture resistance matter more than maximum durability.
We keep Dedication 712 Tile at both showrooms, where you can judge the colour and pile properly. Contact us for stock, see the full carpet tile range, and for offices and retail spaces ask about our commercial flooring work.
