Midgley West Supreme Royal Statuario Tile 24"x24" - Honed

The Supreme Royal Statuario in 24" x 24" hits the middle. Fewer grout lines than a small tile, none of the handling that comes with large format. A honed surface sits between matte and polished: a little depth, none of the glare, and better underfoot than a full polish. The density is the point with porcelain: very little water gets in, which is what keeps it stable in a bathroom or a laundry. The PEI 2 rating puts it in a bathroom or a bedroom. It is not rated for a hallway or a kitchen floor. Each box covers 11.63 sq ft. For a 100 sq ft room order 10 and you have your ten percent for cuts and a couple spare for repairs later. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
